Not so easy after all

Here are some of the pictures that I took on 2023-12-04 of bucks mounting an aluminum statue in our front yard. The guy in the lower picture is the third buck I saw trying it that day. Many such attempts end when the statue falls over.

Several years ago, I securely attached the feet of the statue to the ground with bolts, and Margaret, the little girl next door played on it. One day, when I found the statue on its side with a broken leg I asked Margaret's dad to keep his kids off of my statues. I didn't believe him when he assured me that his kids were innocent, but now I think it's true.
